I’m Chinmayee Kusnur, a student of Utpal Shanghvi Global School and PPSIJC and now I’m studying at Simon Fraser University, Canada. Khadi Sustainability is an initiative I started in March when the pandemic hit us. We sell and donate sustainable Khadi face masks as much as we can. These masks are manufactured by women self-help groups in a khadi society to help generate employment for them. Till now we have facilitated donations over 7000. For doing the same recently we were honoured with the UN Women 2020 Asia-Pacific Women’s Empowerment Principles Award. Studying at PPSIJC helped me gain a phenomenal exposure to explore the world of opportunities.
