With the advent of December, we get very excited to celebrate the festival of joy, decorate the tree with lights and ornaments and not unlike the young ones, also get excited to get our presents. The students of EY 1 were filled with enthusiasm and spark as soon as they witnessed the fabulous Christmas decor in the EY foyer. They were eager to have an amazing time with their peers. Along with being dressed in their Christmas attire, the students also donned the Christmas hat, headbands, glasses, hand-bands. The children of EY 1 enjoyed listening to the story of Santa Claus and participated in its traditions of celebrating and giving gifts along with singing and dancing to the tunes of Christmas carols, and playing games.
The students were then taken to the decorated Christmas tree to admire it. The Christmas celebration is incomplete without a Christmas tree, so we teachers planned an activity where the little ones could decorate their own Christmas tree and place it in one of the corners of their room and celebrate. Soon the celebration came to an end but not before the surprise entry of Santa Claus who entered in the classes to distribute gifts. The day ended with some enthusiastic dancing to spread the Christmas cheer. We were really ready to welcome a fabulous 2023!
