It is always said that the journey is more enviable than the destination. Our MISA Luminous
Spark 2021 winners could not agree more as they have truly enjoyed every bit of their journey
through this competition that made them think out-of-the-box, innovate, and discover
themselves like never before. Here is what our A Level Students have to say about their
experience:
AARAV JAIN:
Writing my research paper was an extremely fun and intellectual experience. Not only did I get
to learn in-depth knowledge about ‘computer vision’, but I also got to learn many new
technologies used in ‘deep learning’ along the way. Writing a research paper in high school and
getting it published was a truly extraordinary opportunity for me. I would like to thank all the
teachers including, Miss Varsha, Miss Shanta, Miss Ameena, and Bhushan Sir, for the guidance
they provided me with.
KOUSHAL MODI:
Becoming an entrepreneur is my ultimate goal and dream, and conducting in-depth research on
‘Business Intelligence’ was nothing short of a dream come true.
From the beginning itself, I strongly believed that I would win the Best Paper Award and my
confidence and efforts finally paid off when I actually won for my outstanding performance.
I worked on my research paper continuously for three months. I conducted primary research
during the pandemic, surfed through numerous websites and used my prior knowledge to write
my final draft.
I truly appreciate the MISA Luminous Spark platform as it facilitated me to further develop my
communication skills, critical thinking skills and research skills. The grilling questions asked by
the judges while presenting my research paper on the day of the main conference were
answered by me with great confidence and clarity. My college teachers also supported me
through this journey.
