At USGS and PPSIJC, we believe that career counselling is a comprehensive and developmental approach to assist students in making and implementing informed educational and occupational choices. Hence, we have a team of 4 qualified Counsellors who guide students from Grade 8 onwards right up to Grade 12 to make informed decisions about their career and future. Members of this Counselling Cell include:

Such effective guidance counselling can only take place when counsellors too have access to comprehensive training and resources to best guide their students. With this in mind, we are extremely happy to announce that we have chosen to partner with CIALFO- a leading College Application Platform used by over 1600 top schools across over 100 countries around the world. This collaboration will not only help our students with profile building, college applications, resume making, but also access to regular workshops and excellent resources. All our students from grades 9-12 have their own Cialfo log in and have access not only to a one stop portal for all college applications, but also to several workshops and resources which are regularly updated.
The Counselling Cell of USGS & PPSIJC also regularly meets with University Representatives from around the world to understand what they have to offer so we are better equipped to guide our students. One such meeting was held recently with Ms. Aastha Kapoor of University of Massachusetts, Lowell.
An Informative and Enriching Tête-à-Tête
Continuing with our efforts towards outreach by connecting with top Universities for our students, the members of the Counselling Cell of USGS & PPSIJC met Ms. Jinal Shah, the Admissions Officer from Ashoka University on 16th February 2022. It was an informative discussion about the various programs offered at Ashoka – one of the best Universities in India offering top notch courses in Sciences and Liberal Arts.
Representatives from Krea University, Hyderabad – one of India’s top Liberal Arts and Science Universities visited us on 4th March 2022 and met the members of the Counselling Cell. This is another instance where our team works closely with Universities to bring the best of opportunities and information to our students.
On the 3rd of February, the members of our Counselling Cell of USGS & PPSIJC had a very productive and insightful interaction with the President of Huron University Dr. Barry Craig, Mr. Moustafa Ezz, Associate Vice President -Recruitment and International Relations, Huron University, Canada and Mr. Abhishek Gupta – founder of High School Mom’s. Such collaborative talks lay the foundation for several opportunities for our students to get admitted to the best universities worldwide.
