The Zenith of our Glory

April 23, 2022 was a proud day for us at USGS and PPSIJC when we hosted the IC3 Regional Fair-Mumbai in our premises. The International Career & College Counseling (IC3) Movement aims to bring counseling to every school and the Regional forum was an in-person event aimed at bringing together leadership and staff from high schools in local regions for a focused dialogue on the significance of career and college counseling as an integral function in schools.

Several school Principals and counselors were in attendance as were Representatives from almost 100 Universities worldwide. Our students and parents of grades 8 to 12 also had exclusive access to an in person University fair so they could interact with them to get first- hand information, a fruitful interaction that would greatly aid their college admission process. The entire school was abuzz with various activities and the entire event was managed beautifully by our very own A Level students!

The day began with an electrifying performance by our students, followed by the lighting of the lamp and the introduction to the IC3 movement by its founder, Mr. Ganesh Kohli. The most anticipated part was the address by the Keynote speaker- Chef Ranveer Brar. Chef Brar is a renowned celebrity chef, a judge on Masterchef India and has started several restaurants in India and abroad. And, what’s more? He is also a proud USGS Parent! His speech was captivating and inspiring and the audience was left wanting more. After that breathtaking start to the day, the delegates were treated to a series of wonderfully insightful sessions and panel discussions by a host of speakers, including University Representatives, Principals and also a panel discussion by our very own team of Counsellors from our Counselling Cell.

The guests departed at the end of a very long day feeling enriched with all the knowledge that came their way, armed with a personalized photograph printed out instantly for them and also with fond memories of the event which, in their own words was “The best Regional forum they ever attended”
