The students of Grade 3,4 and 5 were presented with an interesting opportunity to showcase their acting skills in the Mono Acting Inter-House Competition.
The students were given a choice of three themes- Emotion, Horror and Comedy. They were given the freedom to choose one or present a combination of more. After a lot of planning, several rounds of practice, extensive research and multiple tweaks, the students were ready to perform.
The entire process was impressive as the students were guided to improve their posture, camera angles, audience interaction, character development, script changes, voice modulation, costumes and make-up. The event’s glory must also be attributed to our dear parents’ support and cooperation. The students put in their best and emerged as natural acting talents.The comperes too did a brilliant job by connecting different acts and adding their personal touch to the given script.
Due to the combined efforts of teachers, students and parents, the event turned out to be a resounding success, one where everyone worked together as a community to coordinate, provide additional guidance to enhance student’s performances and perform the final acts with great vigour and confidence.
