Learners of SSC Grade 9 explored the concept of applied mathematics by presentation and games. Applied mathematics, the branch of mathematics concerned with application of mathematical knowledge to other fields, inspires and makes use of new mathematical discoveries and sometimes leads to the development of entirely new disciplines.
The purpose of this activity was to remind the learners that the applications of mathematics are everywhere and a strong background in mathematics can help you in many different careers.
